This organisation seeks to address the issue of homelessness by providing sustainable affordable housing solutions in the form of ‘Tiny Homes’. An engaging writer with strong research skills is needed to volunteer as a grant/proposal writer, sourcing and applying for grants, donations, and sponsorship from local businesses or larger companies. You will be working on the GEN2 Tiny-Home project, which focuses on offering innovative, small scale accommodation to meet the needs of women 55+ and single mothers with young children. The volunteer will assist with the sale of small goods, handle small cash payments, engage with residents and visitors, and perform basic cleaning of the coffee shop after close. Shift work is available across Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 9.30am – 2pm either weekly or fortnightly. Training is provided and a national police certificate will be required.
